VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL       

     What a great outreach to our community as more than half of the VBS students were not EUMC members!  Approximately 26 young campers recently experienced fun in the sun and developed a stronger faith as they Experienced and Discovered God Everywhere during Vacation Bible School.
     The church’s VBS program, CAMP E.D.G.E., which ran August 17 through 21, included a daily visit from Sparx the Fox. Children from ages 4 to 12 learned all about extreme camping with Extreme Jean via video. Activity centers included Bible story treks, scripture checkpoints, crafts, science experiments, snacks, lively songs and recreation. For our mission expedition this year we took a daily offering for Hawk Creek Wildlife Center. During the week we collected $104.44 and added $184.18 with a special offering on Sunday for a total of $288.62.
     A huge thank you goes out to all the leaders and helpers who worked together for another successful VBS!
