NIAGARA FRONTIER DISTRICT UMW CONFERENCE DISTRICT PROJECTSA Message from Joanne Dickes, Chair
Dear Ladies,
The Conference Projects Committee is in need! It needs officers. My term ended December 2009 however I have agreed to stay on through the end of 2010. My co-chair will not be able to continue on due to personal and family reasons. We also need a recording secretary and financial coordinator to round out the roster.
I know there are ladies in the Niagara Frontier District who are more than capable of performing these duties. It is my prayer that they will step forward to serve. The committee meets in March, May, September and November.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have. I am more than happy to help and instruct whoever would be willing to accept the position of Chair.
Those who have been helped with grant monies through our committee’s work are truly thankful.

GREEN MOMENT
Set thermostats between 65 and 70 degrees during the winter, and at 58 when away from the house. (Warmer temperatures may be recommended for homes with infants or ill or elderly persons) While sleeping, add an extra blanket to your bed for warmth. Every degree you lower your thermostat could shave about 2% off your heating bills.
