Eden United Methodist Church

Making Disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, witness, study, service and fellowship

Greetings to one and all at Eden UMC,

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at EUMC. What are you thankful for this day, raise it up yo God in praise.  We are getting ready to enter into the season of Advent. Opportunities for all at EUMC to come together for Jesus Christ. We celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. His birth has opened many doors for us to do His will. Take some time to spend with God and remember what Joseph and Mary went through to give us Jesus Christ, makes some of our problems seem a bit easier to get through. So let's come together this season and praise our God and His Son Jesus Christ and see where it leads us. We have the hanging of the greens, Eccumenical Christmas program at our church, Christmas play program/ potluck dinner, Christmas Eve services. Look forward to celebrating the season with one and all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

God be with one and all,

                                                Lay leader,

I am always reminded of how God wants to bless everyone. Sometimes it can be a whisper of the wind, a conversation with a friend, or a gathering of many Christians, God speaks to everyone, and when we listen and respond back we see the blessings overflow. That is the kind of weekend I have been having and want to share it with all my fellow Christians out here. We need to continually be raising one another up in prayer so that we are all doing God's will in our lives. The power of prayer is awesome and many a miracle has occurred due to prayer. So know my prayers are for all who read this and I ask that you also pray for me because I can use prayers also. If you feel God calling you to something, pray on it and listen for God's direction from there, then go and trust where it will lead you. God loves you and so do I, trust and obey for there is no better way.                                                                                                                                                        In God's love,
                                                                                       Dawn Q.
